Carrie Megan is currently a candidate for the Certificate in Botanical Art and Illustration from the Wellesley College Friends of Horticulture. She has worked as a graphic designer and illustrator for over 25 years, but recently discovered her passion for creating botanical art. She works in both graphite and watercolor.

Recent exhibits include a solo show "Botanical Interpretations" at The Wellesley Free Library, in Wellesley MA in January and February of 2008, and work in the show "Fruits of Our Labor", an exhibit of fruit tag labels at The Wellesley College Botanic Gardens Visitor Center. She is currently exhibiting in "Botany Sampled," an exhibit of work by fellow Certificate candidates also at the Wellesley College Botanic Gardens Visitor Center. Her work has also been shown at the 2006, 2007 and 2008 New England Flower Shows, Blithwold Manor in Rhode Island and at the Arnold Arboretum of Harvard University.
