Linda Gist Linda Gist received a BFA in Illustration from the Philadelphia College of Art (now University of the Arts).

She has created artwork for diverse national and international clients and her work has been shown in numerous exhibitions by the Society of Illustrators in New York, the Art Directors Club of Denver, the Phila. Art Directors Club and Woodmere Museum of Art. She was included in the Philadelphia Society of Botanical Illustrators' juried exhibition at the Philadelphia Flower Show in '04 , '06, and '07, and The American Society of Botanical Art juried exhibition in New York 2006. She has also had solo exhibitions at Cabrini College and the Horticultural Society of Philadelphia.

She has taught Illustration at the University of the Arts and currently teaches a once-yearly workshop in Botanical Illustration at the Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. Linda especially enjoys working from botanical subjects grown by her husband, John, in their own garden.
