John Gist John Gist was graduated from the Philadelphia College of art, now University of the Arts, in Philadelphia, Pa.with a BFA in Illustration.

He taught Illustration and drawing at Moore College of Art, University of the Arts and Woodmere Museum, all in Philadelphia, and the Maryland Art Institute in Baltimore. He and his wife Linda create designs and illustrations for national and international clients. He was included in the Philadelphia Society of Botanical Illustrators juried exhibition at the 2006 and 2007 Philadelphia Flower Show, the 2005 and 2006 American Society of Botanical Art juried exhibition, the 12th International Exhibition of the Hunt Instutute for Botanical Documentation opening in September, 2007, and Woodmere Museum s 2006 juried exhibition.
